Is it waterproof?
It is IP67-rated under controlled conditions—up to one metre for 30 minutes—not waterproof forever. Resistance can decline after wear or damage.
Are the batteries safe around children?
CR2032 coin cells can cause fatal internal injury if swallowed. Keep tags and spare batteries inaccessible, secure the cover, and seek emergency help immediately after suspected ingestion. Bitter coating is not sufficient protection.
What should someone do after an unknown-tracker alert?
